An armored MTP-MTP trunk cable is a high-density fiber optic cable assembly designed for backbone connections in modern data centers and enterprise networks. The cable is terminated with MTP/MPO connectors on both ends, enabling multiple optical fibers to transmit data simultaneously.. Its rugged shell with steel and Kevlar is 10 times stronger than regular Fiber Optic Cable and has a 40% higher rated range of operating temperature. The apply place are in the floor corner. Those products could protect the fiber bite by mouse and ant. Although armoured fiber optic cables are strong, they are actually as flexible as standard fiber optic patch cords; they can be bending randomly without being broken. The rugged armoured cables allow optical fiber to be installed in the most hazardous areas, including environments with excessive dust, oil, gas, moisture, or even damage-causing rodents.
These trunk cables are widely used for high-speed optical links such as 40G and 100G Ethernet, enabling efficient high-density network connectivity.
The 12F MTP – MTP trunk cable is designed for 40G QSFP+ SR4, 40G QSFP+ CSR4 and 100G QSFP28 SR4 optics direct connections and high-density data centre.
The 24F MTP – MTP trunk cable is designed for 100GBASE-SR10 CXP/CFP Interconnect Solution,100GBASE-LR4 and high-density data center.
Please Note: MTP is a registered trademark of US Conec Ltd. The US Conec MTP connectors are fully compliant with the MPO standards, achieving higher performance levels when compared to generic MPO connectors.

Benefits of Armored MTP Trunk Cable
Common MTP trunk cable is fragile, which needs to be protected, especially when in harsh applications where cables could be compromised by rodents, constant wear and tear or weather damage. Armoured mtp trunk cable retains all the features of standard mtp trunk cable but is much stronger due to its extra layers of armour. With the protection of flexible and durable steel tube, armoured mtp trunk cable will ensure the excellent operation of your network.
Ideal for harsh installation conditions that require exceptional durability. It is used as an interconnection or cross-connection in the data centre. It is also used in ceiling, corridor and other harsh environments.
